The Zadar Archaeological Museum presented a new collection of souvenirs – the suranja awarded by the profession continues!

Tunics, t-shirts and handbags signed by ELFS promote Croatian cultural heritage this season as well!

The second collection of ELFS souvenirs for the Zadar Archaeological Museum was presented at the Zadar Archaeological Museum. The collection was presented by the head of public relations AMZd. Marina Brkić, head of marketing AMZd. Donata Smokrović and the fashion duo ELFS (Ivan Tandarić and Aleksandar Šekuljica).

The second collection was created as a result of the continuation of the successful collaboration between the Zadar Archaeological Museum and the famous Croatian fashion duo ELFS. This cooperation started in 2019 when in the church of St. Donata presented the first exclusive collection of souvenirs, which included T-shirts, tunics and bags. The first collection met with extremely positive reactions from domestic and foreign visitors. The entire program was also recognized by the Croatian Museum Society and was awarded a Special Award in the category for the realized marketing propaganda program. All this encouraged us to continue our collaboration and create another collection.

The second collection, in addition to men’s and women’s models of t-shirts for adults, also brings t-shirts for children. A design was made for t-shirts and bags decorated with motifs from museum exhibits such as prehistoric fibulae, a salt carrier from the grave of a Croatian warrior from the 9th century and the motif of Emperor Augustus. With their design ideas, ELFSI breathed a completely new life into these museum motifs.

The entire program is organized in cooperation with the Zadar School of Applied Art and Design and their teacher Jelena Franulović, Stanovi Elementary School and their teacher Ana Paleka. The students of these schools participated in workshops where they received templates or motifs designed by ELFSI and they had to interpret them in their own way, and as a result an exhibition of student works was created, which was opened at today’s presentation.

The presentation with two dance points according to the choreography of Lara Stanin was enhanced by the Preschool Studio of the Zadar Dance Ensemble.

All participants of the program were presented by the Archaeological Museum with commemorative certificates of appreciation designed by the students of the Zadar School of Applied Arts and Design.
